Moderation or Safety Tools in Action
Practical training using DefenderNet tools and real-world moderation scenarios.
Key Takeaways
After completing this module you will understand the following key concepts.
- What GS Defender and GS Bans are designed to do
- How DefenderNet tools support early detection and enforcement
- The core moderation capabilities available to staff
- Where to access setup guides and full documentation
The two core DefenderNet tools
DefenderNet uses two key tools to help communities keep players safe across Minecraft and Discord. Both tools make it easier to detect risks early, take consistent action, and share important safety signals across the wider DefenderNet network — all while reducing moderator burnout.
Using GS Defender for Discord
GS Defender is a security bot for Discord communities in the DefenderNet network. It provides advanced moderation, staff and member verification, anti-nuke and anti-raid protection, punishment tracking, and detailed metrics — everything you need to help keep your community safe.
You can install and set up the bot directly through our dashboard: defender.gamersafer.systems
